AI-DOMP is a collaborative research and development project, sponsored by Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency. Project partners include BuildEco Ltd and Leeds Beckett University.

The AI-DOMP platform analyses existing and retrofit building designs to identify areas prone to mould growth and optimise such designs to mitigate the growth of mould in the areas and the whole building. The system support new and retrofit design of buildings for mould prevention using analysis of moisture-prone areas within the design to make preventive decisions on damp and mould growth

Unlocking the Power of Predictive Analytics

The AI-DOMP platform harnesses the power of predictive analytics through a web-based system that carries out building retrofit design diagnostics enabling mould prevention.

01 As-Existing Evaluation Module

A user-inputted data encompassing key building features (home sizes, age, construction materials, and existing energy systems) will be supplied. Leveraging this data, an AI-driven predictive model will assess the building's performance and report both the RdSAP value and the Mould Risk Rating.

02 Retrofit Options Evaluation Module

This module will use AI algorithms to analyse past performance data and identify patterns and correlations between retrofit measures and their effectiveness. It will also recommend the most effective retrofit options by highlighting differences in RdSAP score, heat loss, and mould risk.

03 Report Generation Module

This module will generate a comprehensive assessment and retrofit options report tailored to the specific project. It will identify current performance levels, recommend suitable retrofit measures, and outline the expected improvements. The report will include visual aids such as graphs and charts to enhance clarity and ease of understanding.
